Welcome to Mrs. Singer's Tips & Tricks with Computer Applications Section! Tips & Tricks.... Macintosh & Microsoft Word 98

"For more info about items circled in GREEN CLICK HERE!"

The image below is a screen shot of a blank Microsoft Word Document.
Notice how there are few items in the Toolbar.  When in your own document hold
down the Ctrl key on the keyboard then click on a blank gray area of the top Toolbar
and you'll get a menu of all of the Tool Button options that you can have displayed on the screen as you work.  Click Here to see what it would look like.

Microsoft Word 98 - Blank Document

Shown below is a second way of getting to the various Toolbar options.
Always keep in mind that there are usually 2 to 3 different ways to accomplish
any given task on a computer.  So, at home, when you clicked on the word Toolbar
option in this drop-down list you'd see the same selection of options that you saw
when you Ctrl+clicked the blank area of the top Toolbar!
Everyone develops their own favorite method of working!
