Take your brown crayon and
'ziggy-zag' sideways color
the right half of the tree trunk.

Take your black crayon and draw over
the right
side of the tree truck.
Don't draw over the left side too.
Have the black line continue all the way up
the side of the branch. This is the
beginning of the shadow. |
