This page has Steps #3 - #8
(Lighthouse Lesson)

#3

With white, draw a ziggy-zaggy,
back & forth line to color in the right half
of the lighthouse. (Side-ways line, not up and down!) Notice how some of the paper is still peeking through the white in my picture.
The color of the paper becomes as
important as the oil pastel colors that
you put upon it.  Some of the "zigs" are longer than some of the "zags" if you know what I mean!

#4

Change colors!  Grab your black and
draw a line right over the white
vertical left line of the lighthouse.

#5

Now, using your black, draw a line right
over some of the bottom white
line, a bit more than half way...

#6

More ziggy-zaggy lines again!
Go right on up the left side of the lighthouse,
back and forth, some of the black lines
actually cover some of the old white lines,
when this happens a nice gray color shows up!
Don't forget that it is good for some of the
blue paper to show through!

#7

Now it is time to draw the 'catwalk', a
narrow little walkway for the person on Watch
to walk around on... with your black draw a
slightly curved horizontal, side-ways line.

#8

Now draw a "twin" line right above
the first one.  These lines are parallel to
each other.  That means that they both
remain the same distance from each other.
This line that we just drew is the top of the rail.
